Spend from platforms integrated with Northbeam

We ingest ad spend through an API connection from the following platforms:

Facebook Ads
Google Ads
Microsoft Ads
Snapchat Ads
TikTok Ads
Amazon Ads

To troubleshoot spend from any of the above platforms, please check your Connection and

Checking your Connection

Make sure there isn't a Connection issue by going Connections page:

Navigate to Settings
Click on Connections

Make sure all ad accounts are the correct accounts are connected without any errors. We commonly see users lose permissions to the ad account, which breaks the connection and prevents us from pulling data.

Timezones

If the discrepancy is very minor, it's often a timezone issue where your Northbeam dashboard timezone is different than your Ads Manager timezone.

To see the timezone in your Northbeam dashboard:

Navigate to Settings
Click on Profile

For the following platforms, we ingest data through scheduled reports.

TradeDesk (TTD)

TradeDesk

Ensure your reports have the correct fields and are being sent to the correct email address. See the TradeDesk Tracking guide for more detail.

Spend from platforms that do not integrate with Northbeam

For all other platforms, we ingest spend using a Custom Spendsheet.

Spendsheet is up-to-date

Make sure your spendsheet is up to date with the most recent spend data and you're looking at the correct date range in the dashboard.

Check your Spendsheet Connection

Your spendsheet should be connected to your dashboard, but here's how to double check:

Navigate to Settings
Click on Data Spreadsheets

You should see your spendsheet under Custom Spend Spreadsheets.
